A large building erected about 1789, and used as a cotton Mill, it was afterwards converted into a Paper Mill, the upper floor is now used as a woollen Manufactory where blankets plaiding and carpets are wove on the ground floor there is a circular Saw mill occupied by the proprietor Gilbert Maxwell the weaving departments are rented by John Dunlop it is fued from the Estate of David Walsh Esqr. Collin
