005 A Large Stone in one of the gardens belonging to the Village, the country people State that this Stone was thrown from Cainsmore by the Devil with the intention of knocking down Carsphairn Church but it fell Short by about 5 Chains from the Church, there is about 100 Cubic feet of Stone in it but it formerly was much larger
