010.02 A wooden foot-bridge crossing the Water of Feugh on the old public road crossing Cairn o' Mount to Kincardine o'Neil. Till 1829 it was broad enough to allow machines to cross, but being swept away by a flood in that year, this one was erected to supply it place _
"The bridges are in good repair, but inconsiderable inconvenience is felt from the loss of one by the great flood of 1829, on the line of road across the Cairn." Extract from Statistical Account.
