020.04 | On the farm of East Mondynes, and in a field Called Kinglan' Knowes; some 8 years since, while the farmer, was employed trenching, a small gravel hillock, he came upon a Cist. The sides, and lid of which were composed of freestone slabs; the gravel formed the bottom. The Cist measured about 4 1/2 feet in length, and about 3 feet wide; fragments of bones, and a great quantity of burnt ashes were found inside the cist. |
