017 This lead mine is situated about 10 chains N. [North] of "Loch na Meine," from whence a lade conducts the necessary supply of water for washing one etc. The mine has not been worked for some years, and the stamping mill, water well etc. are falling into decay The mine consisits of an a ditch driven a short distance along the vein of one, and the remains of a smelting hearth exist a short distance from the mine. It belongs to Ld [Lord] Lovat Beaufort castle.
