010 At a little distance below the upper Fall, the River emancipapted from its Confinement, glides along Smoothly & majestically in a broad stream over a large surface of rock, The rock here comes to an abrupt termination across the whole expense of the River which is very broad at this point, and these different streams, falling from off the Rock upon a bed of large rough stones, forms what are called the Lower Fall of Kilmorack, These are only about 8 or 10 feet in height, [] Extracts from New Statistical Account.
