ERCHLESS FOREST Erchless Forest Mr D.Duff, Factor Bank of Scotland, Inverness 009 ; 010 This name applies to a Deer Farm commencing from "Erchless Castle" extending in a westerly direction about one mile to "Leishmore" thence following the parish boundary to "Doire Mhor", thence to "Coire Nam Pollan" from which point it follows the country Boundary Eastward to "Tighachovchadair" thence by the steam of the same name south wards to "beinn a Chlonaidh" thence to "An Dubh-Ghlac" & Eastward by "Breackachy Burn" to the west end of "Caille na Cleithe"thence southward by "Tigbhalaec" & the farm of "Ardocky" to a wire fence between that farm & "Cnocnagrais-hag" thence by the said wire fence westward to where it joins the parish Boundary which it follows to the County road thence by the said road westward Erchless CAstle.
