020 ; 021 ; 032 ; 033 ; 045 This name applies to the Old road from Inverness to Perth made under the direction of General Wade. It exists in its entirety from Inverness until it joins the County road at the South east end of Loch Moy, and is frequently used by travellers as a bridle and foot road, but is too much broken up in many places for Carriages. From the point at Loch Moy the old road can only be traced by detached pieces, sometimes running alongside the New road, in some places the new road has been laid on it, while in many places the track is entirely defaced either by cultivation or wood.
