A large Loch near the centre of the Parish & on the estate of Turin, it is noted for Pike, Perch, &c. A great amount of Marl used to be taken from it by means of dragging, which is now discontinued.

A farm house one storey in height, with Out offices, Garden & land attached, the buildings are in medium repair. There was not many years ago, a Mansion, here, but it is altogether destroyed.
