028 Water works for the supply of water to the town of Montrose.
"Kinnaber Water Works Erected for the supply of Water to Montrose by the Police and improvement commissioners, at a cost of £9000. The water was introduced to the town on the 28th day of May 1857." Sculptured on end of Building. The Reservoir is on trace 2 of Plan 28-10.

028 A bridge of 7 Arches spanning the North Esk River. It was erected in 1775. "Built by subscription to which the town of Montrose and the 2 adjacent counties contributed a large share. The work was first projected and a liberal sum directed to be given by Thomas Christie, Provost of Montrose. £800 was given by his Majesty out of the annexed estates"
