Co. [County] Forfar -- Parish of Lethnot

Stone Circle [note]
"Some twenty years ago, a good specimen of
concentric circles stood on the farm of Newbigging
about a mile north of the house, but of the twenty or thirty
large stones which enclosed an area of from 50 to 60 feet
only one remains, the rest having been carried away for
various utilitarian parishes. This boulder which is about
8 feet high is sometimes called the Druidical, but
commonly the "Stannin Stane of Nebigging"
