038 A small square space of ground enclosed with a good stone wall. It was used as the Burial ground of the Fletchers late proprietors of Ballinshoe. Mr. Dixon says that it is the site of a Chapel, which was dedicated to St. Ninian, and had been built by a former proprietor named Lindsay for the use of his family.
"The chapel at Ballinshoe was built by the proprietor for the use of his own family: as the site of it is still enclose with a good stone wall, & used as the burying ground of the Fletchers of Ballinshoe.

Balinscho was anciently an independent Ecclesiastical district.
The Church or Chapel was dedicated to St. Ninian, and stood
on the west of the Turnpike Road, and is still marked by the
family burial enclosure of Kinloch of Kilry.
This, too, had perhaps been the last resting place
of the Lindsays of Balinscho.
