The family Burial Tomb, belonging to Invereighty & Brigton occupies nearly the whole of the site of the old church which was removed in 1812. "The old church & tower which stood in the present Churchyard, & which were taken down in 1812, exhibited strong presumptive evidence of their having been erected in the 12th century.
