040 A small hillock planted with trees close to the dwelling of Kinnells Mill Farm. Upon the authority of Mr. Donaldson and the Revd. [Reverend] Mr. Walker it is an artificial hillock, but whether an antiquity (a tumulus) or not is doubtful, for nothing is known of it more than the name it bears, which is also given to the large field adjoining it on the west side. It has not been broken into.
