031 On the summit of this hill [West Schurroch] is a standing stone, which the Rev. Mr. Haldane says, is the only one left of a well known stone circle, the other stones were removed about 20 years ago. East of the above stone and nearly at equal distance from each, are 2 places marked out with some boulders, which Mr. Haldane says are 2 Minor Circles of stones. An urn was found a few years ago at the one to the east
"There were on the hill called Schurroch at 3 different places equally distant from each other several large stones, erected in a circular form called Druidical temples. one of these have been removed"
