[Reverend] Mr. Haldane and Mr. Reid supposes it to be the site of some old Castle or Keep. There is nothing seen on the ground farther than the remains of an old earthen bank or mound on the east side and part of the south side, to all appearance it resembles what has been a fail or turf dyke. |
