Site of KIRKBUDDO CHURCH Site of Chapel Mr Smith, New Mains
Mr Worden, Rosekingie
Mr J Spark,
045 [Situation] In the west end of Guthrie (Detached)
There are no traces of this chapel on the ground although the graveyard is quite entire being in all round, there is what appears to be a family vault in the centre also several tombstones.
This being the church of a rectory the designation Chapel is not strictly correct And as it was the Church of Kirkbuddo the proper name should be retained as it will best explain the object. Site of Kirkbuddo Church is therefore written on plans - See extract annexed
