This name should be strictly confined to the limits given of it on the Examination Trace for although there is a Den on the Stream to the east of the vault, "Deil's Den" does not apply further than the lake on one side & the plantation of "Marquis Hill" which ends so acutely on the other - the east

There are Tombs of Marble in the walls on the north & south to the Proprs [Proprietor's] father & other relatives. A high wall encloses it
