The principal trade is Weaving, which is carried on to a great extent. The Village boasts of a Public Hall & Public Library, Four places of Worship & 2 Schools. There are two Fairs held here Annually, one at the Martinmas term & the other at Whitsunday Term, they are chiefly for Hiring servants. |
