A large but plainly built Church situated off the East side of Jamaica Street belonging to the Free Church of Scotland It is seated for 1200 persons and the Minister is the Revd. [Reverend] John Baxter of Hillbank House. There are three Schools attached to this Church viz: An Infant school, An Industrial School, an ordinary day & Sunday school & the teachers are Mr. A. Robertson & Misses Yule & Lamont. The whole is supported by the Free Church members |
