025 A large park enclosed with a dyke having a few ruins near its centre. These ruins are not higher than two or three feet above the foundations. At one time there were (as stated by the personal Authorities) some 30 or 40 habitations here, including a Public House. The name is adopted on the Exn. [Examination] trace as it appears or applied on the Estate Plan & being one of the oldest & best known places in the Glen it should not be list [lost] sight of.
