I have made particular
enquiry about the orthography of this name
as Broomhall House appears strange but the
Authorities (some of them connected with the place)
say they never saw it written otherwise

An extensive portion of ornamental
ground attached to Broomhall House. It is
at present divided by Palings for grazing purposes
and several portions of it are ploughed up
but I was informed by Mr. Fogy that it is the
propietors intention to let it out in grass again
in a year or two & on this account I thought it
better to stipple what originally formed the Park
