[Page] 39 [Loose Item - Page 2 and 3 of 3 of a Letter from G. Anderson of "Luscar" to Captain J. Bayly of O.S.O. [Ordnance Survey Office] via his Factor Mr. Sang of Kirkcaldy regarding changing a name of a property]

..applied to the agent in Edinr. [Edinburgh] for the Clune estate Mr. W.R. Kermack, to get the consent of the proprietor, and I have now the pleasure to enclose you Mr. Kermacks's answer, which I doubt not you will find quite satisfactory, and trust that it is not too late to have the change made. It will meet Mr. Hepburn's wish to have it changed to "Balclune" rather than Cluniehall and it will answer equally well.
With many thanks for your kind and polite attention, and apologising for the trouble I have given you.
I have the honor to be
Sir, your faithful
& obedient servant.
G. Anderson.

To Capt. [Captain] Bayly R.E. [Royal Engineers]
