An extensive range of hills lying East and West and extending along the whole of the Northern part of Kinross shire, a portion of the range is moorland but the principal part affords pasturage for cattle and sheep. Some of the features in the range are of considerable elevation, the loftiest is said to be 1100 feet above the level of the sea.
