An extensive range of hills lying east & west & extending along the whole of the northern part of KinrossShire. A portion of the range is moorland but the principal part affords pasturage for cattle & Sheep, Some of the features in the range are of considerable elevation, the loftiest is said to be 1100 feet above the level of the Sea.
