Melville House the seat of the Earl of Leven and Melville is situated on an extensive plain, surrounded by parks, in which are a great number of fine old trees. The house is large and the style of architecture plain. It is four storeys in height, with the entrance to the North; extensive offices are attached, and westward of the house is the home farm, one large building with the necessary conveniences.
