006 [situation] Joins the River Eden near Seggie Distillery
A considerable Stream, which rises in the parish of Abdie, and flowing eastward receives a number of tributaries: it falls into the River Eden near the Guard Bridge. Near its source it is occasionally called "Motray Burn", but "Water" is the correct name: it is common in Scotland to apply "burn" to all streams, independent of any proper names which they may have.
