A parish in Fifeshire bounded on the south by the parishes of Cupar and Logie, on the east by Logie Forgan and Balmerino by [Balmerino] on the North and on the west by the parishes of Creich and Moonzie. Its extreme length from West to East is about 6 miles, its greatest breadth about 4 miles but in some parts no more than one mile. The whole of the parish is arable with the exception of the hill tops which are planted with Fir. It is in the presbytery of Cupar and Synod of Fife. Patron the United College of St. Andrews. There are no detached portions belonging to or within this parish.
