A small hill of oval shape and arable surface on the farm of Gibliston on the summit is a Trig. [Trigonometrical] Station called by Trig. [Trigonometrical] party Gibliston Hill. The same stands on the margin of what was at one time an ancient cairn. this hill form on [forms one] of a small ridge of hills which stretches from East to West nearly through the middle of the Parish. These are Carnbee Law, Kellie Law, Gillings Hill & this one.

The remains of an ancient cairn on the summit of Cunner Law. It consists of a circular ridge of earth and stones about 75 links in diameter and about 2 feet high. It is the outer margin of what was formerly a large cairn of stones. Which was removed about 20 years ago by Mr Peattie, farmer now of Winthank. The cairn covered a stone coffin in which was found the remains of a human skeleton. No weapons of any kind were found in or near it .
