A small parish in Fifeshire about 7 miles in length from North to south and in breadth from east to west varying from 2 to 5 miles. It is bounded by parish of Wemyss on the south, by Kennoway on the east, by Falkland and Kettle on the North and on the west by the parishes of Leslie, Kinglassie and Dysart in the west. About 8500 acres are under cultivation and about 800 under plantations. This parish is in the Presbytery of Kirkcaldy and Synod of Fife. Patron the Crown.
