I made particular inquiry about Cairns at this place, as the name would indicate that there might have been remains found on it. William Anderson Foreman to Mr Cunningham says that there were a number of Rocks and loose stones taken of the bank but no remains were found. He said also, that it is customary to call heaps of loose stones and rocks Cairns in this neighbourhood.
