Lathrisk House is a very large building, of a plain style of architecture, built about a century ago. South of the house is the home farm, an extensive range of buildings fitted up with every convenience. Between them is the garden, filled with fruit trees. Mary of the parks are bounded by belts of woods and in others are many single trees, That part of the estate, near the Mansion house, is intersected by fine roads, which are kept in excellent repair. And those parks, let for pasture, are well drained. The present proprietor is William Johnstone Esq. of Lathrisk
