On the South side - stands a statue erected to the memory of the Reverend Ralph ErsKine - For some time a Popular Preacher to the Secession Congregation of Dunfermline - Present Minister Revd [Reverend] James Young - Stipend £180 - with a Manse. Gratis sittings provided for any poor Members of the Congregation.
