[situation] North side of School or Castle Hill.
A field which lies on the North side of Lady Burn, opposite the Castle Hill the level or lower part of which was called the Fluthers, as it was generally flooded by the Lady Burn when that stream overflowed its banks. and the higher portion was a part of the Bow Butts. It is the property of the Town and is the place where the Monthly Cattle Market is held.
