Mr. D Smith Cupar		 Two Fairs held annually in the Town of Cupar, for the Sale of all sorts of Cattle & all other manner of marketable goods. both are well attended by farmers in quest of Servants and also by Servants in quest of places. the Market place for Cattle &c. is that already described on the Bow Butts and for all other purposes every Street in the town is used generally for hiring out and all other available purposes but principally the "Crossgate" Bonnygate, St Catharine St & Lady Wynd.
