012 | [Situation] In the East end of the Cathedral of St Andrews. This is the site of the high altar which stood in the east end of the Cathedral a large flag still marks the place where it stood as pointed out by the authorities quoted for the name. There are also three large stone coffins exposed to view which probably contained the remains of some distinguished ecclesiaistics. |
