009 A Small Stone bridge of one arch over a mill dam on the public road near Seaton House. it was built & is kept in repair at the expense of the County the Highlanders Cross'd this water by a wood bridge which span'd it about 200 paces to the westward of this bridge, when marching on Sir John Copes Army. 21st Sept. [September] 1745.
