003 | An old thatched house near St. Baldreds House and west of Seacliffe House it had been at one time a farm house but since the Present new farm House was built this was left to decay it is at present occupied by Farm labourers and by all appearances will shortly be a Ruin. A short distance S [South] West of this Place is the new farm house of Auldhame having suitable offices Thrashing mill and farm attached occupied by by George Dale Farmer and property of Lady Harriss. These two houses are generally called New Adam and Old Adam Adam being evidently a corruption of Auldhame |
