016 An ancient fort or Camp on the farm of Nunraw Barns. it occupies an eminence on the south side of Clints which was taKen advantage of by those who Constructed it. It is in a tolerable state of preservation and was formerly defended by three ramparts with ditches between. It is likely to have been a Saxon Camp from its Construction. Viz Its interior being Considerably higher than the surrounding plain. Several persons in the locality were applied to as to what traditions might be relating to it, but nothing Could be gathered from them except the name which is well known
