008 A neat building, on the side of Loch Long, erected about 20 years ago, and capable of containing a congregation of 250. There is a small Burial ground attached, but the proper burying ground of the Parish is at "Ballyhennan." The ruins of the old Church stand close to the new building and bear the date 1733, the period of its erection. Underneath the ruin is the Vault of the family of MacFarlan, which family at one time held considerable property in the Parish.
