It is formed on the east by "Mid Hill. and on the west by Ben Eich. & having an opening to "Glen Douglas" but bears the name no furthur than the southern base of Doune Hill on which the stream rises that runs through it and falls into "Luss Water", near "Glenmallochan" farmhouse. The stream is of considerable size, bearing no name. The signification of the name is not known.
