Rev. [Reverend] Dr. [Doctor] McFarlan		 008 A considerable stream bearing its name from where it enters "Glen Douglas", at the junction of two streams, ¼ of a mile West of Tullich, and flowing in an easterly direction falls into Loch Lomond at Inveruglas. It forms the boundary between Arroquhar & Luss for the whole of its Course. It derives its name from the glen through which it passes., the Gaelic of which (Gleann Dubhghlas), signifies the dark grey glen. The true gaelic is now seldom, or never, used.
