A large tract of Lochar Moss so called on acct [account] of its wetness . It inclines the South extremity of the Ph. [Parish] and is on Traces 1 & 2 of this Plan.
The term "flow" is understood as applying to that portion of the Moss which has not part of it cut away and is merely applied in a descriptive sense. The name "Racks Moss" is best known and includes the entire of the moss, cut out or uncut.
