Transcriber's notes

Camp - Descriptive Remarks - The second entry (line 2 onwards) has been written over a previous entry and there are words/letters missing in the page fold. Unclear initials at end - some corrections/cancelled sections on other pages are initialled MJ? or IBJ?
From page 2 (OS1/10/41/2), the first missing words are probably - "have had a double fosse"
From "The New Statistical Account of Scotland Vol IV Dumfries, Kirkcudbright, Wigton" p445 - "The one at Burronhill has a strong double fosse or ditch. In digging the foundation for a new school-house some time ago near to this place, a considerable quantity of human bones were found."
