CORRIE CHURCH (Remains of) [Continued from page 220]
Churchyard of Corrie with remains of old Church within it. This is said to be the burial place of Corrie of Corrie to whom the noble family of Johnstone of Annandale, succeeded by Female Descent in the estate of Corrie. Among others, there is said to be interred there, the Companion of Sir William Wallace, Knighted for his bravery in taking Edinburgh Castle.
