This Knowe is situated to the west of Glendearg Burn, betwixt the Ewe Rig and Upper Stony Cleugh, with the Flow to the west of it. It consists of rough pasture, and has a Trigonometrical station on its highest point called "Eastside Knowe".

This cleugh is situated betwixt Eastside Knowe and Mid Kipple Craig, down which runs a small stream into Glendearg Burn. It has its rise near the Flow, and towards Glendearg Burn, is rocky.

018 [Situation] Passes W [West] side of Mid Kipple Craig
This is a considerable burn, and has its source near to Glendearg Steps. After receiving considerable accessions, and at its junction with Tomleuchar, it ceases to be known by this name. It runs in a southerly direction and assumes the name White Esk, after its junction with Tomleuchar Burn.
