A very large hill the Surface of which is covered with rough pasture. It is one of the highest hills in the parish, three parishes meet on the Summit of this hill. viz. Eskdalemuir Hutton & Corrie and Moffat. On its highest point there is a Trigl. [Trigonometrical] Station, called "Loch Fell".
