A large hill near the summit of which there are a number of precipitous rocks the rest of the hill is covered with rough pasture, on its highest point there is a Trigl. [Trigonometrical] station called Holm Craigs, and it belongs to the farms of Holm and Wat Carrick.
The name is not only applied to the rocks but to the hill also.
