A Strong spring of Water, forming a Pool, in the North side of of the Road leading from Gillenbie Hope. No remains, or site of a Chapel can be discovered altho' [although] it is probable a building of this description at one time existed in the vicinity. Being a strong spring constantly in ebullition it therefore forms a small pool.
