133.13 An isolated crag in the Carse or plain of Stirling, and rises 260 feet above the level of the River Forth. It slopes gently towards the northeast, and, like Stirling Rock and Craigforth, presents, on the west, a bold precipitous front. It is all thickly wooded. On its top is being erected the National Monument to Sir William Wallace
